Hello, I’m Antonia Dykes, MEng CEng MIStructE, a consulting structural engineer with over twenty years of experience helping people bring their buildings to life.

My career began in Cambridge, where, for more than a decade, I worked across a wide range of projects — from domestic extensions and bespoke homes to commercial developments, medical facilities, student accommodation, and sensitive interventions to historical buildings.

This experience gave me a deep appreciation for thoughtful design, practical detailing, and the importance of clear communication between architect, engineer, and client.

Since then, my practice has taken me further afield, including projects in Europe and Africa. Working internationally broadened my perspective and strengthened my ability to adapt structural solutions to different contexts, materials, and construction cultures.

Now recently returned to the UK, I’m excited to support architects, homeowners, and small developers as they shape new spaces or reimagine existing ones. Whether you’re planning a renovation, an extension, or a completely new build, my aim is simple: to provide reliable, well‑considered engineering that helps your design succeed.
